Raveena is a 21 year old Bengali-American. She is a Psychology and Sociology double major in her Junior year at Stony Brook University on Long Island. Although she doesn’t wear a headscarf, Raveena finds the need to “halalify” hipster fashions; that is, she needs to take some fashion trends and make them more appropriate for the Islamic community she lives in.
